As the founder of Happiness at Sea and Kern and Co., LLC., Pam designs maritime specific mental health prevention and intervention programs. She utilizes the synergy as a former crew member, psychotherapist and wife of a seafaring captain, delivering real and relatable best practices unique to maritime mental health and advocacy. Pam has over 25 years of experience working within the cruise industry on board and in the corporate office, as well as experience working in Employee Assistance Program (EAP) company. Pam received a Masters of Social Work from Columbia University. She also holds a certificate in Business Analytics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
