Ministry Port Minister SMM Regional Coordinator for North America and the Caribbean at Stella Maris

Deacon Paul Rosenblum began his work in seafarers’ ministry as a volunteer with the Charleston Port and Seafarers’ Society in 2004 and currently serves on their Board of Directors. In October 2015 the Bishop of Charleston, SC, Robert Guglilemone, appointed him as the Stella Maris Ministry Port Minister for the Diocese of Charleston. Following his retirement from the faculty of The Citadel in May 2017 he took on the Port Minister position on a full-time basis. In June 2018 Deacon Paul was appointed as the Stella Maris Ministry Regional Coordinator for North America and the Caribbean. He has been a member of the North American Maritime Ministry Association (NAMMA) since 2013 and was elected to the NAMMA Board of Directors in 2017. In June 2020 he was elected to serve as NAMMA President and Board Chair. As NAMMA President and Board Chair he serves on the International Christian Maritime Association Board of Trustees.
