Per Bjornsen, CEO of V.Ships Leisure, has had a career of over 25 years dedicated to the cruise industry. Holding key roles at V.Ships Leisure in Monaco before his appointment as CEO, Per has been instrumental in the development of the market leading global ship and hotel management partner for the cruise industry. V.Ships Leisure has supported the start-up of many cruise lines including standard setting Silversea and the first large Chinese cruise line Astro-Ocean. As the partner of choice for start-ups, Per and his team support new entrants from the initial concept stages all the way through to operations and fleet growth, with a variety of new partners set to join the market in the coming years. Prior to V.Ships Leisure, Per worked as a shipbroker in Oslo, Gothenburg and Paris sourcing vessels for new and existing cruise lines. Per was educated at INSEAD, Oslo Business School and the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy.
