Raal is Group Creative Director at Ocean Technologies Group the home of the COEX, Marlins, MTS, Seagull, Tero Marine and Videotel brands. In his role he advises on the creative development process and leads on the brand marketing and communications activities of the learning and technology solutions that Group offers.

Prior to becoming part of the group Raal was Managing Director of Videotel, where over fifteen years he gained extensive experience in the production of maritime training content and software solutions. An active participant in the maritime industry Raal is involved with numerous seafarer welfare organisations, ship management associations, and international shipping entities. Raal’s diverse background includes university lectureships in interaction design, information product design, and computer games design, which gave him invaluable experience in structuring and designing engaging learning material, evaluating learner performance and creating rewarding user experiences.
