Mike joined Heathrow Airport in August 2022, initially as their Business Continuity Lead where he was accountable for leading the non-operational business continuity programme and governance. Since October 2023, has been their Head of Risk and Assurance where Mike is now accountable for leading the Risk and Assurance team, embedding Enterprise Risk Management across Heathrow and its associated controls and assurance governance. Mike is an experienced resilience leader and prior to joining Heathrow, Mike worked for the John Lewis Partnership where he was accountable to embedding business continuity across the Waitrose brand and then took on a broader role focussed on resilience across the Partnership.

Mike is a member of the Business Continuity Institute and has extensive experience in implementing and evolving business continuity programmes, supporting organisational resilience and effective incident and crisis management.
