Profile

Prior to founding Vesper Wealth Advisors, James spent 12 years with J.P. Morgan in the Private Bank across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. He started at J.P. Morgan after graduating from Denison University in Granville, Ohio with a degree in Economics & Communications.

James’ first role was with the customized credit and home equity lending group for the U.S. Private Bank. Following this, James was asked to relocate to Geneva, Switzerland where he took a role as business manager for the head of credit & lending operations for the EMEA region. While in this role for three years, he created new operations teams and led part of the credit middle office in Geneva, Switzerland & Edinburgh, Scotland. This assignment allowed him to develop his expertise within the private bank markets across EMEA.

Following this role, in 2017, James moved to New York City where he worked as a business manager for the global head of the Deposits and Custody platforms for two years. For the next 5 years with the firm, James worked as a Private Banker supporting the Middle East region within the Global Families Group, where he carried his series 7 and 63 securities licenses. Primary coverage was within the GCC where James spent time with clients in the United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. James departed J.P. Morgan in May of 2024 to open Vesper Wealth Advisors LTD in Abu Dhabi within the Abu Dhabi Global Markets financial centre.

In his free time, he enjoys golf, cross country skiing, tennis, hiking and travelling with his wife Anita.
