Jorge Carstensen is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Sophós Advisors, a Risk Management Consultancy with offices in Miami and Zurich, leading the captive insurance solutions practice.

Jorge has worked at Scotia Wealth Management, Itaú Private Bank, and the Royal Bank of Canada, being responsible for growing and managing relationships for High and Ultra High-Net-Worth individuals and large companies. He also worked as Head of Wealth Management at a Miami and Geneva-based Multi-Family Office.

For the past 24 years, Jorge has acted as senior advisor at a single-family office that manages a portfolio of commercial real estate properties. He has lived and worked in several countries, including Mexico, Canada, the US, France, and the Bahamas. Jorge is the President of the Interamerican Chapter of the US-Mexico Chamber of Commerce.

Jorge holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University-Kingsville, as well as post-graduate programs from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and French, and holds both insurance and securities licenses.
