Ms. Sonia Hingorany is currently a Senior Director at Microsoft within the Azure Cloud Operations + Innovation group (since Dec'24). She was previously a Senior Manager leading an organization of 150+ individuals in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure, Data Center Planning and Delivery group focused on capacity delivery and space and power utilization in data centers. Sonia graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and served as the student speaker at Henry Samueli’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences’ Commencement in ‘08. Sonia also earned her Master’s degree in Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University, Tepper School of Business in ’15 and was a recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship. She sits on UCLA's Engineering Alumni Association Board, Carnegie Mellon Tepper School of Business' Alumni Board, and has been an avid member of the Society of Women Engineers for over 20 years. Sonia has 15+ years of experience in technology, development of product roadmaps, data center capacity planning and delivery, transportation and logistics, stakeholder negotiations, and operations.
