Adrian Bull took over as Nuclear Industry President in January 2026 for a two-year term. Adrian is Associate Director at the University of Manchester's Dalton Nuclear Institute, where he is the BNFL Chair in Nuclear Energy and Society. He joined the University in 2021, following 40 years in the UK nuclear industry with BNFL, Westinghouse and latterly the UK National Nuclear Laboratory, where he was External Relations Director.

His Dalton activities focus on Government policy around nuclear and energy, and on stakeholder and community engagement on nuclear issues. Adrian is also a consultant with US-based specialist nuclear communications company Full On Communications.
