Angela has over 20 years’ experience in specifying site characterisation campaigns and data management requirements to support the restoration of nuclear sites. Angela’s background in environmental science, land quality assessment and geospatial data mapping has been key to the successful release of over 20% of the original Harwell Nuclear Licensed Site to date. As part of the NRS Site Restoration programme, she provides data assessments for both the Environment Agency’s Environmental Permitting Regulations (EPR) partial permit surrender and the Office for Nuclear Regulation’s Delicensing processes. Through the NDA’s NWDRF Land Quality subgroup, she contributes to identifying and implementing improvements in radiological characterisation of land and structures.
