Charlotte Pickering is a Senior Waste Specialist at Nuclear Waste Services, working as part of the Integrated Waste Management (IWM) Delivery Team. Charlotte has worked in waste management for a number of years identifying solutions to technical challenges across the entire radiological spectrum and all stages of the waste management lifecycle. Specifically relating to packaging Higher Activity Waste (HAW) for Geological Disposal, Charlotte manages the suite of guidance documents supporting HAW packaging and the HAW Stores Export Schedule which sets out the programme of 140 years of GDF operations.
