Christelle Decanis studied as a chemical engineer in Montpellier in south of France. She is specialized in the environment and dedicated processes. After graduating in 2002, she joined the French Atomic Energy Commission. Her early career focused on waste management. She was given the opportunity to work on large scale waste management projects in operational facilities. She then moved on to work on an innovative programme dedicated to fusion power and tritiated waste management. Christelle is currently involved in key decommissioning programme
