Emily Ford is the Operational Waste Lead responsible for developing Higher Active Waste strategy across the UK’s fleet of Advanced Gas Cooled Reactors. With a background in systems engineering, she has held leadership roles including Waste Projects Engineering Lead for the South East and previously served as a technical advisor to the UK Government through Great British Nuclear. Emily is a passionate advocate for disability inclusion within the nuclear sector and has been a STEM Ambassador for over 15 years, promoting engineering careers and supporting the development of future industry talent.
