Dr Jenny Kent is Managing Director of Galson Sciences Ltd (GSL), part of Egis Group. She has been working in the nuclear industry for 20 years, delivering a wide variety of projects relating to the treatment, packaging, interim storage and disposal of radioactive waste. She worked on several projects to underpin the development of the UK NDA’s Industry Guidance on Interim Storage of Higher Activity Waste (HAW) and authored a Domain Insight on the topic for the European Commission (EC). She considers knowledge management to be essential to the long-term delivery of nuclear decommissioning programmes and has organised training courses and conferences for several EC projects.
