Neil has been an active member of Radiological Protection teams across the UK and Sweden from technician level upwards for 23yrs. After starting out in the civil nuclear industry at a Uranium Enrichment facility, he has gone on to amass a wealth of experience in operational MAGNOX, AGR, PWR and BWR power stations, and has also been involved in decommissioning works on related civil nuclear power facilities such as Harwell’s old Radiochemistry Lab.

He has been working at Sizewell B Power Station for 11 of those years, as both contractor and now staff, and has participated in 8 refueling outages and 2 Dry Fuel campaigns. He is also a member of the Society for Radiological Protection’s (SRP) Nuclear Industry Committee.
