Peter Hiller is a characterisation and nuclear forensics provenance specialist with thirty-seven years’ experience both within and outside the nuclear industry. Peter provides technical leadership and guidance on site and waste sampling, characterisation, and management projects across a range of nuclear sites (civil and defence) in the UK, Europe and more recently, Japan. He also provides nuclear and radiological provenance support to HMG through the UK Nuclear Forensics library construct. The first eleven years of his career were spent in a commercial non-nuclear site characterisation organisation with the following twenty-six years within the UK nuclear sector.
