After studying Geology at the University of Leicester, Tom spent three years as a Drainage Surveyor, working across a variety of organisations and industry sectors. He then completed a Master’s degree in Geographical Information Science at the University of Nottingham. Tom joined Research Sites Restoration Ltd (RSRL) as a GIS Operator at the Harwell site in Oxfordshire. Following RSRL’s integration with Magnox in 2016, his role expanded to support 10 former generating stations. Now with Nuclear Restoration Services (NRS), Tom works as GIS Technical Support, managing environmental data, supporting site restoration, regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, and report review.
