Dr. Meryem Fati is the Vice President of Academic Affairs at Gulf University in Bahrain and an Applied Linguistics professor specialising in English Language Teaching and Educational Technology. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics and Educational Sciences from Mohammed V University, Rabat (Morocco), completed under a Fulbright Scholarship with joint supervision from the University of Kansas, USA . She served as Assistant Dean and a coordinator of the MA in TEFL program. She brings more than 17 years of academic and leadership experience in higher education, including previous roles as Head of the General Sciences Department, Director of the Teaching Excellence and Technology Center, and Manager of the International Relations Office. Her academic interests include inclusive education, online learning, and culturally responsive pedagogy. Dr. Meryem is dedicated to promoting innovation, quality, and inclusivity in higher education. Dr. Fati is deeply committed to educational innovation, quality assurance, inclusive learning, and strategic academic development. Her leadership style emphasises collaboration, empowerment, and global engagement in higher education.
