With more than 35 years of experience at Marriott International, Sergio Snyder is a seasoned Human Resources leader with a proven track record of driving talent strategies, organisational effectiveness, and leadership development across diverse international markets. Since joining Marriott in 1991, he has worked across three continents and more than 25 countries, holding a range of strategic HR leadership positions at both property and above-property levels.
Sergio's career includes roles as Regional Director of Training for Continental Europe and Area Director of Human Resources for Eastern Europe, followed by leadership of HR Operations across Western Europe and the Maghreb. He currently serves as Senior Director of Human Resources for UAE, Levant and Egypt, overseeing the HR agenda for Marriott's Premium and Select Brand portfolio in one of the company's most dynamic regions.
Known for his passion for developing leaders and fostering high-performing cultures, Sergio is fluent in English and Spanish. He studied Hospitality and Catering at Westminster College, London, Human Resources Management at The London Institute, and is a Licentiate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), UK.
