Ana Mombiedro is Kidzink’s Neuro-Architect in Residence and one of the leading international voices in the emerging field of neuroarchitecture. With degrees in Architecture, Neuropsychology, and Education, she has dedicated her career to exploring the space as the “third teacher”, demonstrating how the built environment can actively shape learning, creativity, and well-being.
Combining academic research with applied practice, Ana together with Kidzink’s team has been contributing to universities and institutions across Europe, the United States, and the United Emirates. She is the Director of the Beyond the Box initiative, and senior lecturer on Neuroarchitecture at the University of Alicante in Spain.
Her publications, including books and scientific articles, bridge neuroscience and design to offer evidence-based strategies for creating human-centered learning environments. At Education Investment MENA, she will present "Beyond the Box: How Neuroscience-Based Design Can Transform the Learning Environment", a book co-authored by Ana Mombiedro and Kidzink that redefines how schools can be shaped to foster wellbeing and learning.
