eTourism Moves: New Hires & Promotions for July

Summer is starting to wind down, but destination marketing companies are gearing up for a big finish for 2026. Here’s at look at recent hires, promotions, and other personnel news.
Mandy Eck
Travel Costa Mesa
Mandy Eck is the new Vice President of Marketing of Travel Costa Mesa in Orange County, California. Eck has 17 years of experience shaping brands and growth strategies across destination marketing, healthcare, and consumer goods. Previously, she rose the ranks in the marketing department of Santa Monica Travel & Tourism, where she served as senior director of marketing in 2024.
Todd Davidson
Travel Oregon
Todd Davidson has officially retired after more than 30 years as the State Tourism Director at Travel Oregon. When he stepped into the role, the economic impact of Oregon’s tourism industry was at $5 billion; it now sits at $14.3 billion—a 286% increase since 1996 and an all-time high for Oregon. He was a consistent champion for tourism’s ability to lift a community. Travel Oregon allocates 30% of its budget for community investments through a regional tourism program and a statewide competitive grants program. In the last 10 years, nearly $62 million has been allocated to regional partners and nearly $26 million will have been awarded to Oregon’s communities through the competitive grants program.
Megan Underwood
Visit Park City
Megan Underwood has been promoted to Senior International Sales Manager at Visit Park City, where she has worked since October 2021. She was in the marketing and communications department at two ski resorts before moving to the DMO world.
Matt Marshall
Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center
Matt Marshall has assumed the General Manager position at Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center outside of Denver. The promotion comes after Marshall served as Hotel Manager at Gaylord Rockies, where he oversaw the resort's Rooms, Food & Beverage and Events operations. Prior to joining Gaylord Rockies in 2022, Marshall served as Hotel Manager for the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter and Riverwalk, where he led both properties through a transformative renovation while continuing to deliver strong operational and guest satisfaction results.
Pascha Bhatti
W New York — Union Square
Pascha Bhatti is the new General Manager at W Hotels’ recently revitalized global flagship property: W New York - Union Square. With over 17 years of international hospitality experience and a strong foundation across the Marriott luxury brands, including W Hotels and The Ritz-Carlton. Prior to joining W New York - Union Square, Pascha served as the Hotel Manager of Hotel Arts Barcelona, where he oversaw a comprehensive, multi-year renovation and repositioning project.
Brian Krawczyk
Love Communications
Brian Krawczyk has joined Love Communications as its New Business Director after years of freelancing and contract consulting, preceded by stints in sports marketing, agencies and nonprofit development. Based in Salt Lake City, Love assists with brand development and creative production, media planning and buying, account management and brand implementation, PR, and community outreach.
Shanna Hinton
MMGY Global
Shanna Hinton is the new Global Business Travel Manager at MMGY Global, an esteemed destination marketing company. She has extensive experience as director of travel and events at Quisitive and Catapult Systems.
