Annemie is a senior associate in the competition team at Faros, where she advises on a broad range of EU and Belgian competition law matters. Her practice focuses on horizontal practices including cartel investigations, abuse of dominance, and merger control.

She is closely involved in proceedings before both the Belgian Competition Authority and the European Commission. Annemie works across a variety of sectors on complex and strategically significant matters.

Annemie regularly contributes to legal publications, including the practical handbook on Belgian competition law in the Bos door de Bomen series. She co authored the Horizontal Toolbook (2024), which provides guidance on the new EU legislation on horizontal agreements.

As part of Faros' knowledge-sharing efforts, Annemie frequently speaks at client events and legal seminars, including the firm’s inhouse sessions. She also provides compliance training sessions to companies and contributes to the Faros Glossary, an online initiative that makes complex legal terminology more accessible to a wider audience.
