Russell Hunter is Head of Legal & Regulatory Compliance at Clear Channel, a leading out-of-home media owner active in the US, Europe, Latam and Singapore, where he leads on economic crime and business ethics matters.

Russell was previously a Senior Competition & Regulatory Lawyer at BT Group, first for the highly regulated UK wholesale access business, Openreach, and then in BT’s international division supporting bids, internal investigations, and enforcement matters in Europe, South Africa and Hong Kong. He was latterly BT’s Head of Commitments Assurance reporting to the Board on how BT Group was living up to complex behavioural commitments offered to the UK telecoms regulator Ofcom to address competition concerns. Russell qualified as a solicitor with Clifford Chance specialising in competition law.

Russell is also a Non-Executive Director of Outvertising, a not-for-profit working to make advertising and marketing completely LGBTQIA+ inclusive.
