Laura Harwood is an English-qualified solicitor and Of Counsel at Bristows in London, specialising in intellectual property and commercial transactions. She advises clients across the life sciences, luxury brands, consumer products and retail sectors, with a particular focus on complex IP-driven collaborations and strategic commercial arrangements. Much of her work has an international dimension, and the clients she supports range from multinational companies and academic institutions to start-ups and not-for-profit research organisations.

In the life sciences sector, Laura advises on a broad range of transactions involving the creation, development, protection and commercialisation of intellectual property. Her experience includes research and development collaborations, joint ventures, consortium arrangements, licensing and option agreements, as well as manufacturing, distribution, research funding and services agreements.
