Peter has over 18 years' experience advising international clients on all aspects of EU and UK competition law. He has particular experience of advising clients in relation to merger control (M&A and joint ventures), and he also advises in relation to antitrust investigations, dominance, cartels, market investigations and EU legislative developments. He has particular expertise in the TMT and pharma sectors, where he has advised a number of companies on licensing agreements, patent settlement issues, lifecycle strategies and M&A transactions. Peter is dual-qualified in England & Wales and Belgium, and is recognised as a ‘Competition Future Leader (Non-Partners)' by Who's Who Legal 2024, and as a ‘Rising Star’ for ‘Competition’ by the Legal 500 EMEA 2023 – Belgium. He is a co-editor of the EU chapter of Lexology Competition in Digital Markets, Lexology Pharmaceutical Antitrust in the EU, previously the mergers chapter of the Sweet & Maxwell EU Competition Law Handbook, and is a regular contributor to the HSF Notes competition blog.
