Rosa Aldonza Rubio holds an LLB from the University of Oviedo as well as an LLM on EU Law from the University Carlos III of Madrid. She has been active in Competition and Trade Law since 2015. She started her career in an international law firm in Brussels before permanently joining DG Competition in 2020 as a case handler. As part of DG COMP she has worked on a large number of cases, focusing primarily on merger control and antitrust rules. Most of her time is currently dedicated to antitrust investigations in the pharmaceutical and medical devices sector as part of unit E1 of DG COMP.
