Wes is an English-qualified solicitor specialising in commercial disputes - both litigation and arbitration. He practises at Bristows in London and has a particular focus on clients operating in the technology and life sciences sectors. He particularly enjoys working on cases involving complex technical subject matter.

Recent mandates include: (i) acting for the Touchlight group of companies in the defence of entitlement claims before the Patents Court concerning their core synthetic DNA manufacturing technology, dbDNA, securing a complete dismissal of all claims following a three-week trial; (ii) advising in connection with alleged breaches of various co-development agreements for a generic formulation of a blockbuster drug, and (iii) advising in relation to a stock-out situation of critical medicines in a major Latin American economy and associated public interest litigation.
