Ana-Maria Minescu

Ana-Maria Minescu works at the National Bank of Romania (NBR), within the Resolution Department, where she coordinates a team responsible for resolution planning and implementation. She represents NBR in the European Banking Authority’s sub-group on resolution planning and preparedness. Before the current role, she spent five years in equity derivatives in London (Deutsche Bank) and nine years in various roles (private banking, investor relations, internal consulting) in Unicredit (Bucharest, Vienna, Milan). She holds a MSc degree in Accounting and Finance from London School of Economics and a phd in Finance from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest. Recently, she has also started pursuing academic interests, being involved in teaching resolution-related topics to MSc level students within the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest
