Andrea Gentili

Andrea Gentili leads the International Relations team within the Single Resolution Board. He has been with the SRB since 2018, working on EU regulatory dossiers such as simplification, the Banking Competitiveness Report, the CMDI and BRRD2 reforms. Andrea also worked on the Sberbank resolution case, and on the first accessions to the Banking Union, by Croatia and Bulgaria respectively. His team contributes to SRB multilateral international relations (e.g. Financial Stability Board) as well as trilateral exercises (with US and UK) and bilateral relations. Prior to the SRB, Andrea worked on EU banking regulation at the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME) and as consultant to financial firms. Andrea holds a Master in European Public Affairs from Maastricht University and studied financial markets at Solvay University in Brussels.
