Profile
Holger joined the German National Resolution Authority in 2015 (since 2018 part of the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority). He was responsible for a Resolution Planning Division between 2015 and 2017 and was Head of Crisis Management for BaFin´s Resolution Sector between 2018 and November 2022. Since then he is heading the extended Division Intensive Care and Crisis Management. He is also responsible for the Business Continuity Management (BCM) of BaFin´s Resolution Sector and is a member of several SRB expert working groups, especially working on Crisis Readiness.
Before joining the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority, Holger worked for the German Financial Market Stabilization Authority (FMSA) and was Head of Division Wind-down Agencies (EAA). Before that, he worked for over 10 years for Dresdner Bank and Commerzbank Group – his last responsibility was Director and Head of Strategic Projects (Group Development & Strategy).
Holger studied business administration at the Justus-Liebig University in Giessen, Germany.
