Cathrin Karpinski is Director and Sector Lead in the Structured Export & Trade Finance Department of Commerzbank´s Head Office in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.

She started working in Commerzbank in 1987 and has since then covered various fields in International Finance.

Cathrin graduated from Justus-Liebig-University, greater Frankfurt/Main area, in 1986 in Economics and Languages and has spent some time abroad in Edinburgh/Scotland and in St. Gallen/Switzerland.

During more than 35 years in Export Finance she worked on a wide variety of projects with ECAs all over the world and across many industry sectors structuring transactions with banks, corporates, and sovereigns.

Since 2003 Cathrin Karpinski is in a leading role for topics of various kinds in Export Finance with origination specialists in Frankfurt/Main, Europe, and overseas.
