Christian joined the EBRD’s Agribusiness Team in 2005, originating and structuring a wide range of transactions with clients in the FMCG sector and heading EBRD’s Agribusiness activities for Turkey and Central Asia since 2018. He was based out of London, Moscow and Istanbul.

Since 2019 he is back in London, leading EBRD’s Debt Mobilisation team, creating instruments for raising co-financing with a range of investors in the commercial bank, insurance, institutional- and impact investor space.

Christian is an Austrian national and started his career with Raiffeisenbank International in Vienna where he worked on project finance and real estate finance transactions in CEE. He is fluent in German, English and Russian.
