Duarte Pedreira is an experienced trade financier, with ample exposure to trade, commodity and working capital finance in a multitude of different jurisdictions, with an emphasis in emerging markets. He is currently the Global Head of Trade & Working Capital Finance at Crown Agents Bank, where he has been since 2016.

Duarte is also an elected Board Member of ITFA, the global trade finance industry body, where he leads the Association's Institutional Relations and Emerging Leaders pillars, as well as a Guest Lecturer for Bayes Business School, where he teaches the Trade Finance module for postgraduate students.

Duarte’s career spans over 20 years, and previous experience includes roles with AIG, Caspian Sea Capital, the Standard Bank Group, and Banif Bank UK.
