Funso Ayomide FasetireSyndications - Co Investor Engagement at IFC
Profile
Funso Fasetire is a Senior Syndications Officer at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), where he leads efforts to mobilize private capital into emerging markets through credit insurance and structured finance.
He has played a central role in building and scaling two of IFC's flagship risk transfer programs: the Managed Co-Lending Portfolio Program (MCPP), a $15.5 billion credit insurance facility with 19 global insurer partners, and the Emerging Markets Securitization Program (EMSP), under which IFC completed its inaugural $510 million securitization in 2025. Both programs have become institutional models for private capital mobilization in development finance.
Funso works at the intersection of insurance, credit, and capital markets, partnering with global insurers and asset managers to build large-scale risk-sharing frameworks that expand lending capacity and improve capital efficiency across Africa and the Middle East.
He is based in Washington, D.C.
