Deputy Global Head of Structured Credit Distribution and Credit Risk Insurance at NORD/LB

As Deputy Global Head of Structured Credit Distribution and Credit Risk Insurance at Nord/LB, Juliette is responsible for the global distribution of Nord/LB exposures to non-bank investors, in particular Credit & Political Risk Insurance (‘CPRI’) insurers.

For the last 15 years, she has worked both in ‘buy-side’ and ‘sell-side’ positions within the CPRI market. She had CPRI ‘buy side’ senior global roles with Nord/LB London and SocGen London, purchasing CPRI instruments to manage banks’ balance sheet, gross/ net deal ticket levels, RWA and regulatory capital positions. She was a CPRI ‘sell-side’ Senior Underwriter (moved as a team from QBE Lloyd’s syndicate to XL Catlin London, now part of AXA) offering Basel compliant unfunded credit risk mitigation to a large portfolio of banking clients where she underwrote transactions across a variety of sectors, asset classes, counterparty and country risk exposures. This dual profile is underpinned by deal origination and structuring experience in banking (commodity finance) and expertise in sustainable finance.
