Laszlo Varnai is the associate director of Recovery Advisers, a specialist in amicable and judicial recoveries, joining the firm in 2022. Laszlo is responsible for the business development and communications, as well, as the case management and recoveries in the UK market.

Beforehand Laszlo was for 7 years with the International Union of Credit and Investment insurers (Berne Union) supporting Short-term and Medium and Long-term business committees, also leading the Union on the overhaul of its data reporting system and use of common industry definitions.

Laszlo started his career working for the Hungarian ECA since 2010, as a legal and international policy adviser, covering international regulatory work and compliance, claims and product development.

Laszlo holds diplomas in law (Budapest and Cambridge) and in economic diplomacy (Budapest).
