Lise Kessler

Managing Director, Global Head of Credit Risk Insurance at Crédit Agricole CIB

Lise Kessler is the Global Head of Credit Risk Insurance at Crédit Agricole CIB. She created the CRI platform in 2014 to centralise all of CACIB’s political and credit risk insurance activity and it has become an essential distribution channel for the bank.

Lise joined CACIB’s Debt Optimisation and Distribution team (formerly the Global Loan Syndication Group) in London in 2004 and for ten years was Head of the Corporate, Financial Institution, and Export Finance Loan Distribution team in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Before joining CACIB, Lise was with the Loan Syndications team at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein for three years. Prior to that she was with JP Morgan for six years, where she had a number of roles including originating, structuring, pricing and distributing syndicated loan transactions.

Lise has 25 years of experience in the European syndicated loan market and over 30 years of banking experience. She holds a B.A. from The Johns Hopkins University in the US and an MBA from INSEAD in France.
