Rocío Uriarte Chávarri

Deputy Director, Strategy & International Relations at CESCE

Rocío is Deputy Director for Strategy and International Relations in Cesce’s State Account Division, where she coordinates Cesce’s state account business reinsurance programs with other ECAs, private market and multilaterals, Cesce’s participation in international fora (OECD, EU), as well as planning and follow up of Cesce’s State Account strategic plan.

She joined Cesce over 30 years ago, having transitioned through several areas including country risk analysis, regulation, underwriting and reinsurance.

Prior to Cesce, she worked for 2 years at the EU Commission in Brussels.

She holds a BA in Economics from University of Maryland as well as an advanced degree in EU Economics from the College of Europe, Bruges.
