Simon Morden is an Underwriting Manager at AXA XL, responsible for helping to deliver the strategic, profitable growth of AXA XL’s PRCB book of business in the UK.

Simon joined AXA XL in 2018 from First Abu Dhabi Bank PJSC, where he worked for five years as an Executive Director in Syndicated Finance/Loan Distribution. Prior to that, Simon spent 10 years at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe Limited working in the Loan Syndications team.

Between 1997 and 2003 he held several roles in credit control and agency arrangements at, Gulf International Bank (UK) Limited and Standard Chartered Bank.
