Profile
Wola is Deputy Director and Head of Syndications at AFC. Prior to joining AFC, he was a Syndications Officer at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group, where he led EMEA team’s Africa coverage and focused primarily on mobilising debt financing for project and corporate finance transactions in Sub-Saharan Africa. Wola joined IFC in 2005, initially in the Financial Strategy Group where, as a key member of the Securitisation team, he helped structure IFC's first ever emerging market synthetic Collateralised Debt Obligation.
Prior to joining IFC, Wola was at UBS Investment Bank in New York where he worked on the execution of a number of M&A, debt and equity transactions for Fortune 500 companies. He holds an undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems and Business from Cardinal Stritch University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
