Ben is a lawyer who joined Sykes as head of regulation and policy fresh from a decade working in the Government Legal Department advising ministers and officials on policy as well as drafting legislation. He now advises Sykes and supports its owners and potential new owners on the regulation of holiday lets in the UK and Ireland. Ben engages MPs and ministers in this space, and actively supports trade associations such as STAA, PASC and ASSC, plus you’ll see him in the Times, Telegraph and elsewhere advocating sensible and proportionate regulation of the self-catering sector.
