Rhodri Thomas is in his 30th year at Strutt & Parker and is Head of the Rural business line, comprising a team of 263 people across the UK.
Rhodri specialises in management, consultancy advice and long-term planning relating to agricultural estates and property portfolios for private and institutional clients.
Amongst his many and varied clients, Rhodri advises on a wide range of issues from land sales to nuclear power providers; investment policies; capital disposals and acquisitions; in-hand farming; staffing and recruitment; developing income and capital tax planning strategies; working with new owners to fulfil estate-building ambitions; developing new land use initiatives for land owners; developing estate-wide strategies, including around the future of let farms and negotiating alternative arrangements including surrender; advising clients on estate-wide conservation and environmental strategies embracing ESG objectives.
As Head of Strutt & Parker’s Rural business, Rhodri works closely with the Executive Committee members in implementing strategy across the business line including retention and recruitment, systems, policy, finance, and business development.
