From an early career in pesticides, followed 13 years leading a team of agronomists in the UK, Wilson came to believe that a holistic approach to crop nutrition with more micronutrients produces a more robust plant, facilitating reduced pesticide usage. In recent years the focus has been on developing biostimulants which has led to many speaking engagements around the world. Much time has been spent in Eastern Europe, Brazil and China, and he has participated in many research projects attracting government funding and leading to breakthrough technology in both Nitrogen fertilisation and plant biostimulation. The founder of Micromix Plant Health 22 years ago (now part of Olmix Group) will now be focussed on developing Evoponic ltd internationally, with an emphasis on returning life to soils, reducing chemical fertilisers and blending the best of science with the best of nature, to generate healthy nutritious food by integrating nutrition and biostimulation into agronomy programmes currently centred around pesticides.
