Emerging opportunities and trends in European agri-food & the role of biostimulants in the Next-Gen food chain

Providing an interactive environment to build a sustainable food chain that consumers desire, businesses can deliver and regulators approve

The future is now: EBIC/New Ag International Farm to Fork Conference

Late frosts, record drought, floods — key agricultural regions around the world were hit by many extreme weather events in 2021, reducing harvests and contributing to rising food costs. Climate change is no longer something our farmers are preparing for — it is something that they already have to cope with today. The future is now. By helping crops tolerate and recover from abiotic stress, plant biostimulants can help increase the resilience of crops, farms, farming communities, and food systems. To do that, they need the right enabling frameworks: regulatory, crop management, R&D and others. Starting from the business imperatives created by the implementation of the European Union's Farm-to-Fork Strategy and the application in July 2022 of the Fertilising Products Regulation, this conference will help the plant biostmulants industry understand how to leverage new frontiers in R&D, how to build stronger alliances with key connectors to farmers, and how to cope with the challenges that the industry and agriculture in general will continue to face.

Join us in Athens in June 2022 for sessions on:

1. EU Fertilising Products Regulation and Farm-to-Fork Strategy: what are the status quo and business imperatives today?

2. Precision research: how can industry leverage this new frontier in agricultural innovation?

3. Last centimeter delivery - what do key intermediaries need to know about plant biostimulants?

4. F2F Strategy 2024-2029: what lies ahead and what are the implications for industry now?

The Farm to Fork Europe Conference is a partnership between EBIC and New Ag International inspired by a shared goal: to be catalysts for ever more sustainable agricultural solutions.

The European Biostimulants Industry Council (EBIC) is here to ensure biostimulant technologies are valued as integral to sustainable agriculture, while securing an enabling regulatory framework. Agriculture is complex, and relationships with stakeholders throughout the agri-food chain and the operating environment are crucial for our mutual success.
