Dr. Anastasia Kotowski, LL.M., is Head of Financial Markets and Information Technologies at the Centre for European Policy in Berlin, Germany. As a researcher and legal expert at the pan-European policy think tank, she analyses EU legislative initiatives, evaluates their legal and economic implications, and develops practical policy recommendations for Europe.

Her work focuses on EU financial regulation, particularly in the areas of payments, open finance, AI, fraud prevention, and cybersecurity. She regularly engages with European policymakers and advises senior executives at leading financial institutions on the regulatory impact of emerging EU legislation.

Dr. Kotowski holds a Ph.D. in Law from Goethe University Frankfurt and is the author of numerous publications and policy papers on law, finance, and information technology.
