Glykeria Demataki is Head of Unit at DG Competition, Foreign Subsidies Directorate K.

She has worked in a number of DG Competition Directorates, predominantly in Cartels where she managed inter alia the Commission’s manipulation of interest rates Euribor/Libor cases as well as in mergers. Since joining the Commission, Glykeria worked in several DGs and Services including DG Trade and the Cabinet of Commissioner Maria Damanaki. Before joining the Commission, Glykeria worked in law firms on competition matters and subsequently as referendaire with the EU General Court. She is a member of New York and Athens Bar.She studied law in the University of Athens, University of Paris II and Harvard Law School.
