Cristina Gabaldon or Gabs graduated from De La Salle University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and Economics. She has over 13 years of market experience.

She started her career in Unionbank of the Philippines as a portfolio manager and eventually CIO. She them moved to Bank of the Philippine Islands.

She is currently the Head of Equities of Sun Life Asset Management. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

She previously served as a board of trustee of CFA Philippines and is currently part of the board of trustees of Fund Managers Association of the Philippines (FMAP).
