Alex is a Partner on the Investment Strategy Risk Management Team, where she leads Adams Street’s operational due diligence (ODD) function across the firm’s investment strategies. Drawing on more than 25 years of experience in accounting, compliance, audit, and investing—including more than eight years focused on ODD—she brings broad expertise to the firm’s investment risk management framework.

Alex joined Adams Street in 2006 as an Accounting Senior Associate and later became Corporate Controller. In 2016, she moved to the Primary Investment Team, where she monitored the firm’s primary relationships and helped formalize the firm’s ODD function.

Before joining Adams Street, Alex was an Internal Audit Team Leader at Northern Trust Bank. She began her career at KPMG LLP in the State and Local Tax group and later moved into the Assurance and Business Advisory Services practice.

Alex is a registered Certified Public Accountant and a member the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She sits on Adams Street’s Impact Investment Committee and ESG Committee. Alex earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S. in Accounting from DePaul University.
