Benjamin Murray is Chief Operating Officer of Council Oaks Partners, a private equity and private credit fund manager located in Austin, TX. Most recently, he was Director of Operations at Weizmann Global Endowment Management Trust, a nearly $5 billion endowment located in New York, and, prior to that, he was Chief Operating Officer/Chief Compliance Officer at Cypress Creek Partners, a private markets asset manager in Austin, TX. Murray previously held the position of Director/Head of Operational Due Diligence with the University of Texas/Texas A&M Investment Management Company (UTIMCO). Prior to joining UTIMCO, he held various investment operations and operational due diligence roles at William Blair, PEAK6 Investments, Aurora Investment Management LLC, and Man Investments (USA), LLC, in Chicago. Mr. Murray is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Austin. He holds a B.A. in Communication and an M.B.A. with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Missouri.
