Mr. Nightingale is an executive vice president and deputy general counsel in PIMCO's Newport Beach office. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2020, he was the general counsel of PAAMCO Prisma, LLC, a liquid alternatives investment manager and strategic partner with KKR. In this role, he oversaw the legal function supporting the firm's global investment strategies. Previously, he was in the investment management group at Schulte Roth & Zabel, and an associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell. He also clerked for Judge Joseph M. McLaughlin of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He has 21 years of legal experience and holds a JD degree from Duke University School of Law, where he was an editor of the Duke Law Journal and was admitted to the Order of the Coif. He received an undergraduate degree from Columbia University.
